GET A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE  Essential Information Duration: 6 months Location: A combination of online delivery, with two 8-day residential modules at Manchester Business School in Manchester, UK. This is a must have qualification for recent graduates looking to break into the sports industry, or those already working within the industry but looking for that extra advantage to take their career to the next level. Structure This is a 6 month programme dedicated to the sports industry, conceived and created by the World Academy of Sport Executive Centre at Manchester Business School.
Participants will gain a unique appreciation and in-depth understanding of the dynamic global business model of world sport, which contributes to making the sports industry so exceptional. They will also gain a clear understanding of the management and organisational side of sport, as well as detailed analysis of current management models which exist in the industry and how the industry is developing for the future. Delivery Sessions are delivered through active learning, interactive simulations and exercises, and are based on real-life sports industry experiences such as case studies from major International events. The programme is delivered on-line together with two 8-day residential modules at the Manchester Business School, all complimented by e-learning support.
